01 / THE ORIGINAL STORY

A business at its beginning.
A website to set the tone.

When we created the website, DGX Films’ founder was in New Zealand and starting the company. The brand’s photography and cinematic presentation called for a website that put the work first.

We designed and built that digital home around three years ago. It introduced the business, displayed its wedding imagery, and gave the original audience a way to explore its work.

    The original website.

Created as the founder started DGX Films in New Zealand.

  2. A CHANGE OF CHAPTER

    The founder moves to India.

The business later closes following the founder’s relocation.

  3. TODAY / THE PORTFOLIO

    The design stays online.

We keep the existing website live on our subdomain as a showcase of the work.

02 / THE DESIGN

Let the imagery lead.
Give the story room.

Warm tones. Editorial type.
Photography with space to breathe.

01

Photography takes the lead.

Large images and a gallery-led layout keep the focus on the visual work rather than long explanations.

02

An editorial feel.

Serif typography, warm off-white backgrounds, and restrained colors give the original site a calm, considered character.

03

A simple way to explore.

The original navigation connects the homepage, recent work, services, and contact page in a compact structure.

03 / THE PRESERVED WEBSITE

The original experience.
Still here to explore.

The business has closed.
The site remains a portfolio showcase.

04 / WHERE IT STANDS TODAY

Business closed.
Design preserved.

After the founder moved from New Zealand to India, DGX Films closed. Our role today is simply to keep the existing website available as a portfolio showcase.

That’s why it lives on a Modern X Webs subdomain: a place to revisit the design and explore a completed project.
